Dr Ka Chun Tse reviews an organisation’s service plan, role delineation and other contextual factors, to develop and support the implementation of a safe and sustainable medical workforce plan.

Dr Ka Chun Tse is able to provide assistance in health services where clincians, managers and Board members may have disengaged or found themselves in conflict with one another, to realign these groups along shared goals.

Dr Ka Chun Tse uses international, Australian and state-based evidence and policies on clinical governance, to create and evaluate organisational clinical governance frameworks that are locally appropriate and effective.

 

 

Medical Education

Dr Ka Chun Tse supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of medical education programs in metropolitan, regional and rural settings.

 

Dr Ka Chun Tse has managed health service operations, across medical services (e.g. hospital medical workforce, private medical practice), allied health and ambulatory care (e.g. community rehabilitation, primary and community health, dental services and disability and aged care), and business and support units (e.g. quality and risk management, health information services, radiology and health library services).

 

In addition, Dr Ka Chun Tse has been responsible for numerous functional roles in the health industry.  These have included accreditation, clinical governance, credentialling of independent practitioners (medical, dental and nurse practitioners), evidence based practice, health education, clinical costing, project management and program development.

 

Dr Ka Chun Tse has also served in inter-agency liaison on many occasions.  These include linking health services with key stakeholders such as external radiology and pathology providers, medical colleges and regional GP training providers, universities and rural medical schools, and Primary Health Networks and their predecessors (Medicare Locals and Divisions of General Practice).
